What Qualifications Are Necessary To Use Any CalHFA Products?
 
  • Must be a first-time homebuyer, except in targeted areas
  • Must be USA citizen or permanent resident
  • Borrowers’ income / household size must be within program guidelines
  • Purchase price must be within program guidelines
  • Property must be owner-occupied
  • Not Difficult Credit Requirements – Lowest borrower mid-score is 620
